Shalom, Sh*thead

Faith for people who are tired of pretending

Welcome. Pull up a chair.

I spent years believing faith meant having the right answers.

The right theology.
The right words.
The right explanation for why life hurts.

Then real life happened.

Grief. Loss. Church. People. My own failures. Other people’s wounds. And all the places where neat answers stopped being useful.

What I found was not less faith.

It was a faith that could finally tell the truth.

A faith rooted in Jesus, grace, presence, honesty, and the stubborn belief that people matter more than our need to be right.

I write about the places where theology meets actual human life—the hospital room, the funeral home, the church pew, the kitchen table, the kid everyone has given up on, the person who is tired of pretending everything is fine.

Sometimes I write gently.

Sometimes I swear.

Usually somebody needs to.
